Program description
SammIT LLC (sammitnova.com), an IT support service based in Arlington, Virginia, sends text messages to clients and prospective clients who provide their phone number through our website contact form, by phone, by email, or in person. Messages include:
- Replies to inquiries about IT support service.
- Appointment confirmations and "on-the-way" arrival notices.
- Job-completion follow-ups and links to invoices.
- Occasional service announcements only if you have explicitly opted in to receive them.
How to opt in
You consent to receive text messages from SammIT when you take any of the following actions:
- Submit our website contact form with your phone number and check the SMS consent box.
- Reply YES to a confirmation text we send you when you first contact us by other means (call, email, or in person).
- Send us a text message first — your inbound message is treated as consent to a reply on the same thread.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies by your service activity. A typical client receives fewer than 5 messages per month. During an active job, you may receive several messages in a short window (arrival notice, status updates, completion confirmation).
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless plan. SammIT does not charge for these messages, but your carrier may.
How to stop messages
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message we send. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts from SammIT unless you opt in again later.
To resume messages after opting out, reply START or contact us.

Supported carriers
SammIT's SMS program is compatible with major U.S. wireless carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
We do not share your phone number with third parties for their marketing. Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Mobile information and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes; all categories above exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information will not be shared with any third parties.
